WHOLE TISSUE IMAGING AND ANALYSIS

Brain Mapping

BRAIN IMAGING AND ATLASING CAN PROVIDE A DETAILED SPECIFIC UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR TREATMENT.

TissueVision has a proven background in brain mapping.

Our imaging technology and approach has been foundational for major neuroscience initiatives that depend on reliable, high throughput, high quality data. The Allen Mouse Connectivity Project and the Brain/MINDS project are built using our TissueCyte™ imaging platform. Numerous publications in top scientific journals including Nature, Neuron, PNAS, Nature Methods relied on our imaging technology to deliver cutting edge scientific results. See our publications page for more information.

Below we describe details of our brain screening pipeline.

Whole brain 3D imaging
Robust high-throughput screening

Our brain imaging pipeline provides a robust method for screening multiple cohorts simultaneously and allows for direct comparison across treatment conditions. Our turn around times for standard studies is typically 10-15 business days.

High-throughput screening of mouse brains

In addition to providing full brain images with histological in-plane resolution, we can also register individual brains to standard atlases such as the Allen Mouse Brain Reference Atlas, © 2004 Allen Institute for Brain Science, to facilitate sample-to-sample brain region specific conclusions.

Mouse bran registered to common coordinate framework
Atlas registration and regional analysis

Through our brain atlasing and image analysis services, we can provide a detailed understanding of the effects of your treatment conditions on per sample brain region by brain localization of your target of interest.

3D mouse brain technology used at Allen and RIKEN

We excel in creating whole brain reconstructions in small model systems such as mice and rats.

Brains are imaged by STP Tomography on our TissueCyte(TM) platform and result in whole brain images with flexible coronal or sagittal spacing and sub micron in-plane resolution
