The TissueCyte platform excels in creating whole brain reconstructions in small model systems such as mice and rats. STP Tomography imaging results in whole brain images with flexible coronal or saggital spacing throughout and sub-micron in-plane resolution.
Allen Mouse Brain Atlas
In addition, full brain images taken on the TissueCyte, can be directly registered to the Allen Mouse Brain Reference Atlas* and the Common Coordinate Framework 3.0 which is an average template brain based on over three thousand mouse brains that were imaged on the TissueCyte platform. Mapping to Allen Mouse Brain Reference Atlas can provide sample-to-sample brain region specific conclusions.
